Inside Tip: Although you can hear the show while in the patio dining area of the Cheesecake Factory, the surrounding crowd interferes with the view. So the show and dining are best done separately. I’d choose to dine inside where you can enjoy your company and the meal, then enjoy the show on its own when you’re ready.
You will not have to worry about going hungry in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Strip, and its surrounding area, offers an array of restaurants to choose from. Most casinos also offer full buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The best news is that Las Vegas is a twenty-four hour city. Many casino restaurants are open around the clock, perfect for a meal after a night of gambling or nightclub hopping.
Decide on which amenities are important. Hotels with pools are always fun for the family. A suite with an a separate bedroom and a pull-out sofa bed for the kids would be more private, not to mention much more comfortable than sharing a small hotel room with your children. The conveniences of a mini-fridge and microwave are essential for storing and reheating leftovers which can be eaten the following day. Cable TV or DVD players for your children’s favorite movies (brought from home) are always helpful during downtime.
2) The Desert Inn Arterial. You can get from Valley View Blvd west of Las Vegas Blvd go under Las Vegas Blvd and end up at Paradise Blvd in less than 3 minutes. From there you can reach the Las Vegas Hilton, The Riviera Hotel, the Sahara Hotel or the Hard Rock Hotel to the south in 5 minutes. You are also right in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center if you are in town for a convention. This route is also a quick route to or from the Rio.
Gondoliers can be seen in the canal, and put on a parade at the beginning and end of each day (9:45 a.m. & 4:15 p.m.) The Gondolier March is an opportunity to be serenaded by the Gondoliers as they march through the mall from the Food Court to St. Mark’s Square.
