Bumpdate | 29 Weeks

How Far Along:  29 weeks (7.25 months)  Doctor's appointments have now gone from monthly to bi-weekly.  Baby is measuring on track and everything is looking great!
Size of Baby:  A cabbage - my little cabbage patch kid.  He's around 17 inches now but still only 3 pounds.  He should be chubbing out big time over the next month or two.
Gender:  Little boy
Maternity Clothes:  You may have seen this already if you follow me on Instagram, but I wore this non-maternity dress that I've had for YEARS the other day.  It's crazy seeing how much my body has changed.  I expected the growing bump, but these boobs have been a total shocker (and they are growing at different rates, so there's that)!!!  I've already gone up SEVERAL cup sizes and everyone keeps saying "just wait until you are breastfeeding" which is absolutely terrifying.  I can't imagine these puppies getting any bigger - yikes!
Symptoms:  Nothing much!  I am feeling really great and just hope that it continues!  We've been really good about getting out and walking a couple of miles several times a week which I think has helped.  Baby boy has been moving around SO much lately and I love interacting with him and poking around to try and figure out what body parts I am feeling.  That probably sounds weird - but it is so fascinating to me!
Best Moments:  The hubs and I took Friday and Monday off from work and spent the extra long weekend up in Maine at a lake house with my family (mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law and two nieces).  The whole weekend was amazing, but my favorite part was watching Jay interact and play with my nieces - it totally warmed my heart.  He is so good with them and I just know that he is going to make the best dad to our little guy.  He is a phenomenal Uncle and I can't wait to see him become a Father!
Looking Forward To:  We have childbirth classes this weekend, which should be interesting and informative.  The classes are right at the hospital where I'll be delivering and they are going to be giving us a tour of the maternity unit which I am really excited about.  I've already heard amazing things about this hospital so I know I'm in good hands, but I think it will be really nice and comforting to see where it all will be going down in just a few short months.

  3. The boob growth blew me away too! I went from a small B cup to a DDD with nursing, it was crazy and hard to get used to! But, you look absolutely beautiful!
