Bumpdate | 28 Weeks - Start of the 3rd Trimester!

How Far Along:  28 weeks (7 months) - and here starts the 3rd Trimester!  I can't believe how quickly the first two trimesters went by.  I can only hope that this final trimester treats me as well as the first two did - it really has been such a breeze and I feel SO fortunate.  Only 12(ish) more weeks until this little guy is in my arms!
Size of Baby:  Head of cauliflower (16 in., 2.5 lbs)
Gender:  Boy!
Maternity Clothes:  Not a whole lot new to report on this front.  My first baby shower is coming up in a few weeks so I am looking forward to buying a cute new dress for the occasion!  Any suggestions on where to look?
Symptoms:  I've been able to manage my heartburn a little bit - I've cut out all spicy and acidic foods and it has made a world of difference.  I also make sure not to eat anything past 8PM so that I don't wake up in the middle of the night with that awful burn.  I have a feeling the heartburn is going to get worse as baby boy grows - but for now it is definitely manageable.
Best Moments:  I survived my glucose test - yay!  Honestly it wasn't even that bad - I feel like I read/heard so many horror stories and I was terrified that the drink was going to be terrible, but I didn't mind it at all.  I had the orange flavor and they gave it to me ahead of time so I made sure it was nice and chilled.  I also drank it with a cute straw because everything tastes better out of a cute straw (am I right?)

Looking Forward To:  We are taking a nice long 4 day weekend and spending it up in Maine at a lake house with my side of the family.  I am so excited to rest and relax and spend lots of quality time with my little nieces.
