Size of baby: A spaghetti squash - getting big!
Gender: Baby Boy! You can see all the details from our Gender Reveal here
Maternity Clothes: Alright so I finally caved and bought a few maternity items. Actually most of them are non-maternity but have a loose enough fit that they work now and I’m thinking they will also work post-baby. Win win!
White skinny jeans – these were a MUST. I wear my white pants to death and they were starting to get uncomfortably tight. The belly band can only do so much! I do kind of wish these were distressed, so I might try and DIY that at some point.
Maxi Dress – This one is non-maternity and it is SO darn cute. I already wore it this past weekend and it was super comfortable. Throw a denim jacket over it and it’s work appropriate too!
Shift Dress – This dress is non-maternity as well. I sized up to fit the “girls” (seriously my boobs have grown SO MUCH it’s ridiculous) but I’m pretty sure it’ll fit post-baby as well.
Striped Maternity Dress – Ok so I was super skeptical about this dress. I am on the shorter side (5’4) so dresses that are knee length or longer don’t generally work for me. I brought this one into the fitting room on a whim anyway because the fabric is SO soft and hello, stripes. Um it’s so cute! And so comfortable! It comes in a couple more colors so I might have to get a few more. They’ll be great staples for both work and play.Best Moments: Doing a little shopping! It had been a while, this girl needed some retail therapy.
Looking forward to: Getting in shape. This is so embarrassing to admit, but up until this week I had only worked out twice since I found out I was pregnant. I know - so bad. I realized how pathetically out of shape my arms were when I could barely hold my one year old niece for more than a few minutes over Memorial Day weekend. Eek. I've started doing a couple of "maternity friendly" workouts a few times a week and I'm already feeling better.
