Our Gender Reveal Party

Burlap Banner - Made by my mom | Pennant Banner - Made by me

At long last, we had our gender reveal party over the weekend!  It has been SO HARD to keep this HUGE secret from our friends and family over the past few weeks.  As difficult as it was, it was well worth it because it was so special to have some of our favorite people all find out together.

Before I get to the good stuff, I just want to share some of the party details.  I owe a huge thank you to my mom and sister for coming down early on Saturday to help me prepare for the party on Sunday.  We made most of the decorations ourselves and prepared all of the food.  We tried to incorporate as much pink and blue as possible and I just love how everything came together.
Every preggo lady needs an ice cream bar complete with all of the fixings!  I picked up pink and blue melting chocolate from the Michaels' clearance Easter section which was perfect to create chocolate dipped waffle cones and bowls.
Before the big reveal we had everyone make their prediction.  I cut these little pink lips & blue mustaches from card stock and hot glued them onto wooden skewers.
Since Jay and I already knew the gender, I thought it would be fun to have everyone else be involved in the actual reveal.  I made confetti poppers from push pop containers and filled them with either pink or blue confetti.  I designed the "He or She" stickers in PicMonkey and then had them printed through Zazzle.
Click through to see the poppers in action and to see if we are having a HE or SHE!

It's a BOY!!

The hubs and I are so excited to be starting our family with a little football player boy.  Everyone keeps telling me how much boys love their moms and I am so looking forward to having a little mamas boy.  And it goes without saying that the hubs is on cloud 9!  We feel so blessed that we were able to celebrate with such special people over the weekend.

Thank you for all of your sweet words so far and for sharing in on this incredible journey!
