Bean Boots

Sweater - L.L. Bean (buy here) | Striped Tee - Target | Boots - L.L. Bean (pre-order here) | Cords - Gap (on sale here for $19.99) | Scarf - Ebay (buy from same seller here) | Similar Gloves

There's a light dusting of snow on the ground and a definite chill in the air.  We are coming up on the most dreaded time of the year for me.  The Holidays have come and gone and we have nothing to look forward to but months upon months of bone-chilling cold.  Yuck!  My remedy for this time of year?  Layers, layers, layers, and avoiding being outside as much as humanly possible.  This chunky cable knit sweater is thick and cozy.  It is from L.L. Bean so the quality is unparalleled and I just know it will last for years and years - and it's on sale!  My boots are also from Beans and are an absolute staple in my wardrobe this time of year.  They are on back-order until the Spring which is a total bummer, but go ahead and order a pair anyway and come next winter your feet will thank you!

  1. I got a pair for my husband, but I haven't pulled the trigger on them yet. Is there such thing as too many rain boots in a closet? I guess this year is out because they are on back order and will miss the winter. You Look adorable!

  2. Your bean boots are sooo cute with skinnies + this great green, plaid, and striped combo up top. Excellent mix of textures and colors!

And I hear you, girl- now that the holidays are over, it's a lonnnnng, hard stretch until spring. WE CAN DO IT. (Although I secretly wish we could hibernate until like mid-March, ha.)

  3. You seriously need to teach me how to layer. It's freezing here this week! My parents bought me a pair of these boots for their farm. You are inspiring me to style them for winter.

  5. This is such a cute, cozy look and you're making me want Bean Boots! I saw recently that Target has a similar knock-off style that I may have to try out first..

  12. You look adorable here! How is LLBean for sizing? They don't offer free returns so I've been hesitant to try anything.
