Subtle Mix

Vest - J. Crew Factory | Boots - Tory Burch (similar) | T-Shirt Dress - Target (similar linked in the widget below) | Blouse - Forever 21 (similar here, here) | Necklace - c/o Rocksbox | Bag - Tory Burch (similar)

If you read the blog regularly, you know I am a big fan of pattern mixing.  Sometimes I put outfits together without even realizing there are several different patterns at play.  Take this outfit for example – I didn’t even realize I was mixing three different patterns until I sat down to write this post.  The main pattern here is obviously the herringbone vest but peeking out from under my dress is a hint of polka dot and I finished off the look with a leopard belt.  It's a subtle take on pattern mixing, and I'm totally digging it!  Have a happy Friday and a lovely weekend, ladies!

  8. I didn't even notice you were wearing THREE patterns! It's very tastefully done with such subtly that they go together flawlessly. It helps that the largest amount of your outfit is made up of solids.
