Not My Husband's Shirt

Vest - J. Crew | Pants - J. Crew Factory | Booties - Target (similar) | Necklace - Michael Kors (similar here, here)

I know what you're thinking - and no, this isn't my husband's shirt.  I think it's supposed to be a "boyfriend" fit or something, I don't know, but it is not working on me.  Unfortunately I didn't realize it until I saw these pics.  It's too bad I can't look past these ginormous sleeves, because I really think this outfit has some serious potential!   Live and learn...and burn this shirt, or give it to the Hubs.

  1. Maybe you can try to roll up the sleeves a little bit. Maybe that will work. I don't think it looks that bad.

  2. I do love this look. I honestly wouldn't have noticed! Maybe you can cut off the sleeves and use it only as a layering piece underneath a sweater. You wont see the sleeves are gone under something and it will be a less bulky fit when layering- or you can just burn it! Ha! Love those booties and that necklace!!! xo

  3. I felt this exact same way after I saw the pictures of myself wearing the oversized sweater. I thought it was cute, but it just wasn't. It's amazing how much I have learned about dressing myself from seeing photos. However, I think this looks great on you! I love the outfit. Especially the booites!

  7. Try a loose look without a vest and see if that works better!

    1. Yeah that's a good call - I think it looks weird because the arm holes of the vest are tighter so its making the shirt blouse out even more.
