I've been a bad blogger...

I have been a really, really bad blogger lately.  I'm sorry!  But sometimes life gets in the way and something's gotta give.  Unfortunately that "something" is the blog and it has taken a back seat this past week.  The good news is we finally moved into our home (yay!) and I am so looking forward to sharing the details of my dream closet on the blog in the near-ish future.

Of course I could have shared the details sooner if this hadn't happened and ruined all my progress...

Apparently drywall screws aren't diesel enough to hold my 8 million pounds of clothes.  I guess I should have been less concerned with having symmetrical brackets and more concerned with making sure those brackets were screwed into studs.  Live and learn, I suppose.  If you need me I'll be in my closet patching holes and dusting drywall off of my clothes.

  1. Oh no girl! Thank goodness you weren't hurt! I am sure it will look perfect once it is fixed and properly installed. I would still like to move in! Thanks!

  2. Oh no!! I would be so mad! lol! So sorry that happened to you! That's frustrating! When you finally get everything looking the way you want it, and then something like that happens. Uggghhh!!!

  3. Well my mom had a nice walk in closet, she had a lot of clothes.

  4. You will put everything back together and it will be fabulous!! A stud finder is the most important tool I own. I have 2 out of 3 kids in college and waiting on the day when I'm sort of sure their NOT coming back and turning one of the bedrooms into my boutique too. As of now my hubby kicked all of my "crap" out of our walk-in and for now my "boutique" is in the basement, well organized but a dungeon none the less.

  5. that happened to me over the summer. I just did not blog allll summer, except like once or twice. I felt like I was losing readers but I don't think I did too badly (I hope!) I 'm still here for you! Life does get in the way! Idk if you have kids but that is my problem is the kiddos getting in the way.. but they should come first :)
