Molten Glass

Shorts - Banana Republic Outlet (similar here, here) | Sneaks - Chuck Taylors via Nordstrom (buy here) | Purse - Tory Burch (buy here) | Sunnies - Tory Burch (buy here)

I hope everyone had a nice weekend!  On Saturday night we went to a glass blowing class which was awesome - but also incredibly hot, which I guess is to be expected when you're dealing with molten glass.  Our fabulous creations are hanging out in an 800 degree oven for a few days to fully harden/cure (I'm sure there is some sort of technical term that I'm not aware of) but I'll be sure to share what we made once they're ready for us to pick up.

  2. UGH!! I took glass blowing in college. Only class I have EVER gotten a C in!! Boo!! It's sooooo hard!! I guess that's why I should stick to the sciencey stuff and leave the artistic things for others!! :P Can't wait to see what you made!!

    1. Hahaha, I can imagine that it would be SO hard if there wasn't an expert there doing 90% of the hard work ;)

    1. It was slightly terrifying and I was so nervous I was going to give myself 3rd degree burns, but I survived unscathed! xoxox

  6. Pretty , lovely casual outfit. We did glass blowing ( or I should say witnessed it) at the school I was at, neat that you did it. I love the color and pattern of the shorts, and the bag you paired with the colors. Casual, but stylish!
