Faking It

I know what you're thinking... "What a cute dress!" either that or "that is the ugliest effing dress I've ever seen" in any event, you totes thought it was a dress!  Crop tops are HUGE right now, and as a fashion blogger I feel like it is my duty to try out all most of the seasonal trends.  But since I am not totally onboard with baring my midriff, I found a way to rock a crop top without showing off more skin than I am comfortable with.  I was playing around in my closet (my favorite past-time) when I got the idea to layer this flowy tank over a strapless black maxi.  I totally love the outcome and can't wait to experiment some more with this crop.

Crop top - Target (buy here) | Black Maxi - Forever 21 (old. similar here) | Radiant orchid purse - Kate Spade (loving this one) | Necklace - buy here | Sandals - Jack Rogers (buy similar) | Sunnies - Tory Burch

  6. Love how you faked a cute maxi dress. The top knot and Jack Rogers are perfect with this giving it an easy-Summer, Boho feel. =)
