Royal Lemon

If you've been following my blog for some time, you know that I incorporate color into all of my outfits and love experimenting with different color combinations.  Cobalt blue and yellow is a pairing that I have been a fan of for quite some time.  There is just something about the way the two colors play off one another that make for a bright and cheery combo.  I've had this cobalt skirt for a while, but was able to breathe new life into it with a couple of recent purchases.  I got these lemony yellow shoes for the wedding we went to last weekend and I am totally obsessed.  They are the perfect shade of yellow and are super comfortable - in fact I was able to wear them the entire wedding without them hurting my feet - that's gotta be a first!  They also come in this fabulous navy and white stripe pattern that I am super tempted to buy.

  2. Is that a colbalt blue color on the skirt?
Also the pumps are probably one of the best pumps I've seen in a while. I say get more of them in different colors. Are they comfortable enough for daily wear casually?

    1. Yes the skirt is cobalt blue - isn't it pretty? The pumps are freaking fabulous - definitely comfortable enough for daily wear. I wore them from like 4PM-11PM with heavy dancing (haha) and my feet didn't bother me at all!!!

  10. You look adorable in a skirt. Blue+Yellow are perfect together, even more so with pops of leopard. Plus they are my school colors from U of M in Michigan. The pumps are adorable and you must get the striped ones.

I paired my cobalt with white, navy and a pop of red today. I promise you will like my new sandals also lol.
