Edgy Business

Don't forget to enter the $200 Giveaway here

People always ask, "what's your signature style?"  and I never know how to answer that question - I wear it all!  Take this outfit for example.  The blazer is structured.  The pants are quirky (sold out, but super similar version here).  The studded pumps are edgy.  And the leopard bag is trendy.  It's a mixture of styles all mashed into one outfit, yet it somehow works.  Have you been following my blog for a while?  What would you say is my "signature style"??

Annnd because it was a cold and rainy day, this is the outfit I commuted in.  Hunters to the rescue!
Polka-dot Pants - Loft (similar herehere, here here) | Blazer - Express (old.  similar here for $12!) | Purse - Tory Burch (on super sale here) | Heels - Kohls (on sale for 50% off, plus an additional 20% off with code SAVE20) | Cargo Jacket - H&M (similar here) | Boots - Hunter (buy here; also in a bunch of other colors here)

Linking up with Bethany | Steph | Elle | Jacqueline

  2. Love this outfit! I like all of the edgy details, I'm not sure what my style would be categorized as either...I definitely like to have a bit of an edge but sometimes I'm feeling a little more girly

    1. Thanks Julie! I guess it's not a bad thing to not have a signature style :)

  3. I feel like you don't have to have a signature style. That's the fun with fashion- changing your look day to day! I love this!

  6. I am like you. I don't have a signature style per say. There are days I want to be bold, days I want to be girly, days I want to be flirty, days I want to feel business-chic and such. I love bloggers that are the same way. However if I had to describe the way you dress I'd say your style is Fun, Colorful, Girly and Put-together. That is why you are currently one of my favorite bloggers and a daily read for me. I hope you like my style somewhat, as well. =P

  8. This is a super cute outfit, I love the mixing of everything, but since most pieces had a black base it looks trendy without being overwhelming. Finding the balance is key & you've done that. :)
    Ps. are those heels comfy?

    1. Thanks Maddy!! Yeah, the shoes are actually pretty comfy - the footbed has a little padding and the heel isn't too high! xoxo

  9. That's such a hard question! I think many of us have a "uniform" of sorts that we love and wear often but I think us as bloggers especially wear all types of outfits for our mood, agenda, or weather. I hate answering that question and trying to categorize my style into one or two keywords.

I really love the mix of pieces in this outfit! The multiple patterns and colors, the edgy heels, the bright top, it's wonderful! I love your commuting outfit too, that's definitely more of my day-to-day style haha
